Being an Arkansas fan has been rough for the last ten damn years or so.

Arkansas had a team at the end of Nutts tenure that was capable of beating anyone, but we had a shithead for a head coach who, by that time, was more concerned about his personal image than his product on the field, and it cost the team numerous inexplicable losses.

Get rid of Nutt, and things look great for a couple years, still not able to get the top dogs in the conference, but are beating everyone else.

Then complete disaster during Johnelle's time. I'm pretty sure that guy was tanking games on purpose to pay off his personal debt, but that's a thread of its own. He actually called Arkansas Alabama during one of his press conferences.

And now, under Bielema, we have been teased time and again with flashes of greatness only to lose to fricking Toledo, or have our assholes caved in by Auburn.

Ten years of absolute shite show in Fayetteville.

Kentucky 2011. I didn't even watch the game. I was going through a divorce at the time, I was almost $70,000 in debt to the IRS, my dog had to be given back to the breeder because the shitty apartment complex I had to live in didn't allow dogs over 30lbs, I had nothing to my name except my clothes, my TV and Xbox, and a 2006 Corolla.

I had mentally checked out of football, my friend Evan, huge Kentucky fan, sends me a text saying "GO BLUE" and I instantly knew what happened.

That sent me into the abyss, closest I ever came to committing suicide, not joking. Kentucky was rock bottom.

Let's see, there are several. 1-10 in 1988, 2-10 in 2003 (the last six games were blowout losses), loss to 1-AA Maine in 2004, loss to a bad Tulane team in 2006, and loss to South Alabama in 2016.

This. Losing is one thing...losing to a bad team is another...but there is nothing like seeing your team straight up quit. I would rather have been in Mississippi State's shoes losing to South Alabama. They were a bad football team that day and South played way above their heads...but they didn't quit.
