A&M/Florida....although I thought it was fairly important for both at that time. I just didnt think both would be as good as they turned out.

I say Texas A&M vs Ole Miss. If Ole Miss holds on to that lead they probably end up in the Music City Bowl, Manziel probably doesnt win the Heisman. Many A&M fans have said it was somewhat of a turning point in the season.

In all seriousness, I agree with this statement 100%. That was the game in which we ceased being a Big 12 team and instead became a team who could play old-man football with the best. We typically lost games like this in 2011.

I tend to discount the FL-A&M game because it was the first game of the season. At the time, Johnny had more experience in a holding cell than he had gameday experience as a QB.

What's so hard to understand? Consider:
-New conference
-Starting a Freshman QB
-New head coach
-New offense coordinator, defensive coordinator, etc.
-Everyone predicting A&M would have a rough first year in the SEC

Aggie fans had zero expectations coming into the Florida game due to all of the unknown variables.

aTm won the game because Freeze doesnt realize that when it's forth and inches it's stupid to line up in the shotgun. This was the swing game for aTm which as a team was the story in the SEC this year. Yeah BAMA'a playing for the conferences 7th in a row and their third in four years but thats an old story. aTm losses that game and they are irrelevant this year. Besides aTm/LSU is the game that Aggies and Heisman voters have forgotten.

Honestly, IMHO, it was the LSU vs SC game in Baton Rouge.

There was a winner and a loser - it was a hard hitting slobber knocker of a game where fans stood the entire time. Two very stout defenses. The winner would come out still in the hunt, the loser would have to regroup and deal with probably losing two in a row ... for sure with regard to LSU and, as it were, it happened to SC.

The winner had a good chance of running the table - it was just a huge game with huge ramifications. Both teams Top Ten, everything on the line.

Now, now, now. Be nice. After all, Freeze is a women's basketball coach at heart. I agree with the sentiment of going for it on 4th down but as you said, the execution left a little bit to be desired. Maybe Freeze deliberately sabotaged the play-calling for the good of the conference.

Agreed. And damn, if only SC had pulled-it-off.

TAMU vs Florida. Very early in the season but I watched that and knew both were gonna be good this year and forth the future.
