What was more devastating? 4th and 25 or 4th and 14?

Ole Miss and Tennessee fans had such high hopes last year.

Probably Ole Miss since the SEC championship was still on the line. Tennessee thought the SEC championship would be on the line back then too though. Tough choice.

4th and 14 got Jancek fired...so there was a positive outcome for UT. Did Ole Miss fire anyone as a result of 4th and 25?

4th and 25 was much bigger.

4th and 14 was just another of many losses against Florida.

Easily. Ole Miss goes to the SECCG, where they get a Will Grier-less Florida team that went down the tubes. Avenge one of their two losses and are on the wire for the 4th Playoff spot.

4th and 25 was fluke to the max. 4th and 14 was a clear first down even before the bad tackling.

Thought? Had we won that game we'd have won the East. We beat everyone else. The ironic thing is that we never thought we'd be in contention that year. We were a tad bit ahead of schedule and the pain of almost being there sucks but it is what it is.

UF has beaten the Vols more consecutive times than Ole Miss has ever beaten Alabama.

And with 4th and 25 that glorious number 10 was rendered meaningless.

It's a tough call tbh

Easily 4th and 25. Not only to what it cost Ole Miss, but to what it meant for Bama. It would have been really really interesting to see what the CFP Committee would have done with a 2-loss SEC champion v. a 1-loss Bama, whose loss happened to be to the 2-loss SEC champ.

It was certainly not just that play. It was all of those 4th down meltdowns.
