What was Eddie Lacy's story in HS?

Seemed like he got into some trouble. Didn't LSU stay away from him for a reason?

Bad grades. No shot of going to LSU. Alabama found a way to get him qualified. Very simple.

i think it was more of a statutory sitch. like 13 years old

and he was never going to qualify


until Saban worshipper JT Curtis took Lacey in for summer school 70 miles from his high school and slid him 5 As in core courses.

According to former teammates, his coach in HS had OLinemen escort him between classes to keep him from the freshmen girls.
