I saw a youtube video the other day claiming he ran a hand timed 4.17... ...I'm calling BS.

Heard Auburn coaches timed him at a 2.9, just edging out Corey Grant's 3.1.

Hand timed 40's are of equal accuracy compared to watching them and guessing.

Are you doubting the honesty of the Auburn coaches?

This. No hand timed 40, even today, should ever be taken seriously.

Bo did not run a sub 4.2. Deion did not run a sub 4.4 going backwards.

I don't know. And as a UGA fan, I still say he has my tremendous respect as an athlete. I watched him hit a baseball at the UGA field that hit the top of the outfield lights and it was still on its way up when it hit. Bo was truly an amazing athlete.

When he played for the Raiders on Tecmo Super Bowl he ran a sub-4.0 without doubt.

Fastest player ever. I once had over 600 yards rushing with him when I was a kid. Beast.

Even with Bo's amazing speed, he still had to zig-zag in Techmo Bowl for a touchdown.....

He was timed sub 4.3 at the draft, you mongoloid.

And it was still relative to other times of the era, because electronic timing wasn't a thing until long after.

Yes Auburn has 2 of the fastest people in the world on their 2014 football roster.

It's impressive.

Are we talking about Bo Jackson or Corey Grant?

Well, all of that zig-zagging was clearly not necessary.

You should not that he ran almost 50 yards from one sideline to the next along the goal line and the defense STILL could not catch him.

Tecmo Bowl Bo was the fastest player ever.

And, yes, you had to zig-zag with everyone until you could get the defense (who was always technically faster than you) to dive aimlessly at where you used to be on the field.
