I forgot Bulldog Bash was that weekend. That will make for an awesome atmosphere in the Cotton District.

It also means the game is all but guaranteed to begin at 11. It seems we always play a morning game following BB.

Drive through Oxford and follow what the writer from the WSJ did, go to the game, leave ASAP.

Breakfast at City Bagel. Have a drink and chill on the way to the junction at Bin 612 and after the game the cotton district will be happening. Dave's Darkhorse Tavern will have solid live music

Junction for tailgating and the cotton district is walking distance from there. 6 bars in the immediate area and it's bulldog bash weekend for the A&M game so there will be live bands in the district and over 50K people, lots of women and house parties.

There are other places to go out around town but that night the District will be your best bet.

For eating, I recommend Lil Dooeys BBQ, Mugshots, Veranda, The Grill, Restaurant Tyler, Old Venice or Strombolis.

I heard that they recently started opening a live donkey show every Thursday night. If you're into that sort of thing like Dan Mullen and his fellow grinders are, then I'd give it a shot.

Nice, you took a pic of the Starkville Tours building which was an old gas station right by the historic depot, and on a Sunday of all days.

That's awesome though. Someone asks about what to do in Starkville and 13 replies on first page were from ReBears, 7 were from Pigs(4 by Dale alone) and the rest were LSUand Bama people.

You will like Starkville. It has that small town college feel to it. Plenty of places to eat. Some of the more popular are easy to find but Petty's B-B-Que will always be my favorite. If you want to run into the ESPN crew then Lil Dooey's is the place. I also like Central Station Grill. Plenty of bars in the Cotton District, don't know if MugShots has its liquor license back yet though.

That's why most of Oxford comes down for Bulldog Bash? See lots of Rebs at this.
