Anyone care to cheer for and follow for the 1st month of football season coming up?

I don't post often much less start a thread. I don't follow many teams in the west and will choose a team that isn't an expected contender. I'll choose Mississippi State.

Not saying I'll be here pumping them up or flaming them. The poor fellers probably need all the fans they can get. If you want to commit then post below. Damn, I'm ready for football.

I choose UGA.

We both have the two best uniforms, College Towns, and hottest girls in the SEC

frick no. I hope everybody else in the SEC goes 0-12 (0-8), their athletic departments go bankrupt and are forced to shut down, the entire campus every single building burns all the way down to foundation, and to top it all off they lose accreditation rendering their degrees worthless causing every last one of their alumni to lose their jobs, go bankrupt, become homeless, and ultimately starve and die.

Never really had a problem with UGA. Plus it seems like they always have a bad arse running game and enjoy watching good running games rather than a HUNO.

I choose Florida, cuz I grew up a gator fan in Florida, my dads an Alumn, and Gramps died in Gainesville.

All sounds reasonable.

I'm going to know pretty fast what the season could be like. The 3rd and 4th and 5th games are LSU, Georgia, and Auburn. One of the toughest 3 game stretches in the coming year.

Hell yea boys, shock the world!!

Mizzou or South Carolina. I like the posters from both groups and the two states are really nice.

We have a winner. Thanks to all the others who participated.

Can I say all of them?

As a whole we need the East to return to glory.

Easy, Auburn. They already recruit about as many players from Georgia at they do in Alabama.

Upvoted before I finished reading. Tried to upvote again afterward but it didn't let me.

OP does have me thinking about the Ole Miss fan draft coming up, though. #hype!

No better SEC road trip, especially in late September through end of October

I would gladly take Auburn in with open arms and help ease their burden of the SEC West.

Arkansas.

Good people, a very fine, honest program. They have heart and passion.

My mom's side of the family are all arky people (with a few Ole Miss mixed in).

Arkansas keeps their nose to the grindstone and does things the right way, upsets somebody every year, fanbase is in it for the party. I love it.

Minus the winning, Arkansas is what the other SECW teams wish they were.
