A&M won the AIAW which I think was as big or bigger than the NCAA at the time (for women's softball, not overall).

Arkansas Basketball played in back to back title games but only won one.

Arkansas Outdoor Track: 1992, 93, 94, 95, 96, 97, 98, 99

Arkansas Indoor Track: 1984, 85, 86, 87, 88, 89, 90, 91, 92, 93, 94, 95; 1997, 98, 99, 00; 2005, 06

Arkansas Cross Country: 1986, 87; 1990, 91, 92, 93; 1998, 99, 00

Yes. Women's outdoor track won 11 consecutive titles from 1987 though 1997.
Women's indoor track won 5 straight titles from 1993-1997.

In the last 30 years, LSU has finished below 7th place nationally in both women's outdoor and indoor track and field only 6 times out of 60 competitions -30 years of indoor seasons and 30 years of outdoor seasons.) And won 24 national titles altogether.


The LSU Men won 2 straight NCAA titles in Outdoor Track and Field in 1989-90, and 7 NCAA titles total.
