LMAO at the UGA fan who suddenly saw the light about tougher schedules this year...when UGA's schedule coincidentally got tougher.

Bama fatigue is a bit annoying making claims and wanting to ignore recent history but I think the game every real college football fan wants to see, Alabama V Oregon will be close and potentially a classic. I think this is the overall best Oregon team and I think this Bama team is getting better each week. Sorry LSU fans but I think and hope Bama wins in TTown. Even though Alabama is a small market and Oregon is a medium sized market, I think the story lines, Pac 10 vs SEC, styles of play etc would make this the most watched in a while.

BamaFatigue, Hopefully both Alabama and Oregon will advance to the NC game... y'all are impressive, and it'd be a pleasure to beat you!

Every college football fans wants to see the SEC get beat, that's all, that's it. Most don't care about the details.

But if you press on the details most non-SEC fans would love to see a potential mismatch as perceived by them and the national media ... like, for instance, Oregon vs SCAR.

Everyone would pick Oregon.

Then, when SCAR laid the smack down on the ducks and beat them like a dirty rug it would totally demoralize the rest of the college football world along with much of China, seeing the SEC win another title with another school ... and with this school (SCAR) in particular.

They would settle for any SEC team, but I suspect most would want Bama. They want to take out the king, and Bama is currently the representation of SEC dominance. It's not an intended slight on USCe when I say they'd be a bit disappointed if the SEC team that lost wasn't one of the Big Boys...there would be that nagging uncertainty (exacerbated, no doubt, by SEC fans on the Internet) that they only beat an SEC team having a good year rather than a perennial power. And the risk is also huge -- as you allude to, the possibility of USCe winning would be the worst of all possible worlds. If Bama or LSU beat Oregon, they'd be pissed but they'd be able to say, "Hey, the SEC is top-heavy. Call us when Vandy/USCe/Arkansas/Ole Miss win a title." If USCe wins, it would be a nail in the coffin of the detractors. That would be six different BCS title winners in 15 years from the SEC. Five is already hard for them to swallow. Adding a non-Big Six program to make it six would be completely galling.

Now that I've typed that...what's up with y'all, Georgia? The other five of the Big Six have won it. Get crackin'. You only have this season left to win the BCS. If you can get your loss to Missouri vacated (I recommend planting signed NFL contracts in Franklin's room) and get your players healthy (Terminator technology. Just sayin') you can still make it.

You can't compare them to the 2010 team. Merriota is way better than Darren Thomas

I'll admit I haven't watched an Oregon game all season outside the Tennessee game, but until they prove me wrong by beating someone from the SEC other than Tennessee, they're no different than any other Oregon team that wows everyone with their speed and high scoring offense until they run into a team that plays defense. Yeah their defense has played well for them this year statistically, but I'm still taking a "wait and see" approach with them.

All better than anyone Oregon plays except UCLA and maybe Stanford.

Washington is better than Ole Miss and Auburn.

Let's be honest, the Pac is down compared to what the SEC is now. Ala, LSU, USC, Texas A&M, and a healthy Ga would all give the Ducks fits with MO, Ole Miss, and Aub able to hang around for a while. Just so you know duck breathe.

Lol. Your descriptions of what would happen should Oregon and Carolina play each other, though unrealistic, are funny.

OREGON OFF LINE AVG 300 6'4

Bama Defensive Line Average when we have Ivory/Stinson/Robinson, 6'4" (the average, and they are all listed at 6'4") 307lbs. Think they're fat and slow? A'Shawn and Stinson can move very well at their size.

Wanna talk about LBs? CJ Mosley. Not only is he the most instinctual LB in CFB, but he's one of the more athletic ILBs you'll find in the SEC. Adrian Hubbard? Hasn't been the sack master we thought he would, but 6'6" 252lbs and against the run and in contain he's one of the best. Xzavier Dickson, 6'3" 265lbs, more athletic than people think, routinely beats his mas. Denzel Devall, 6'2" 250lbs, very athletic.

Think we don't have speed? Belue/LC both reportedly sub 4.4 guys. Sylve is too, not sure how much he'd play. HaHa/Sunseri/LC is the best trio of Safeties you'll find in CFB. Force all of them on the field, and those RBs aren't running away from anybody.

Bama has the physical ability to stop Oregon. CSC's conditioning is one of the best in the SEC. Oregon will be in big trouble once they realize they can't get the edge, and they certainly won't find success up the gut. Mariota is inaccurate, won't make the same throws JFF did.

You may have speed, but don't boast about speed when you're comparing our two teams. Speed is what we traffic in, day in and day out. We've got the lion's share of speed. If you make one mistake, one missed assignment, it's lights out. You'll be huffing and puffing as DAT sprints 75 yards to the endzone. No doubt you can contain the run. Our QB is not Darron Thomas. We can beat you through the air if we need to. Mariota is fairly accurate and has thrown no interceptions. He's also scored several rushing touchdowns. He's more than capable of beating a team through the air if the running game is being stifled.

Auburn had to seal the deal with an int in the end zone to win against WAZZU. For frick's sake some people are stupid. Watch some damn football outside the SEC at some point. Ole Piss has looked miserable at times this year.

No. LMAO. that you think your defense has gotten better once you played softer teams. What's your answer when LSU and AUBURN hang 40 in you?

This topic is very funny. I really do think Oregon and Clemson will meet in the NCG but you duck fans are crazy if you think you've earned the right to talk smack. Lay it on after you win the big game.
