Kazaam

The Blindside
The Program
Blue Chips
Junction Boys
Friday Night Lights
Radio
Waterboy
Varsity Blues
Leatherheads
The Legend of Bagger Vance

Then we could have 1 movie per team that is team/state specific.

aTm - Full Metal Jacket "The only thing that comes out of Texas..."

Arkansas - The Beverly Hillbillys

Mizzou - Escape from New York. Actually filmed in St Louis.

LSU - torn between The Apostle and The Alligator People.

Miss St - Diary of a Mad Black Woman

Ole Miss - The Lady Killers

Alabama - Crimson Tide

Auburn - Eight Men Out

Kent - Secretariat

UTk - Hustle and Flow or Black Snake Moan

UGA - Deliverance

USC - The Patriot

UF - Porky's or Mega Python vs Gatoroid

I was thinking about sports related movies only but would be cool with Southern movies like Gone With the Wind

Also, I'll throw in Glory Road since it features Kentucky and Rupp

Why would you want to show a movie where Kentucky gets beat by Texas Western in the national championship on the SEC Network?

ETA: With them also portrayed as the bad guys.

It's a good movie and is family friendly. No one has a problem with Forrest Gump or Everybody's All American and they both deal with the same issues

I watched it again recently and I dont think Rupp or Kentucky were portrayed in a bad light per se just as a reflection of the time.

I like this idea maybe tie it into whatever teams playing in the 11:00 Saturday game

Swamp Thing also works since there's no movie about corn dogs

Is Merlins the Mad Black Woman?
