That did not make the preseason all sec team that will end up a first teamer at the end of the season? I have one on each side of the ball. Mecole Hardman as a wr and Tyler Clark at DT.

Probably nobody.

It's possible Nigel Warrior could sneak in.

I think Calloway has potential to make 2nd or 3rd team.

I honestly have not seen the preseason team yet. Henry Ruggs may make it as a returner. One of our receivers will make the first team though.

Crockett RB.

Alex Ofidile WR xfer from Oregon could have a big year, or be a total bust.

Not a first teamer because I think he’ll split time, but Chauncey Rivers at DE could likely end up on one of the All-SEC teams.

Great call on Clark. He definitely flashes. If he can improve consistency, he will be able to makeep a great case.

I like the call on Hardman. He might be our best receiving weapon this year. But I still don't know if that will be enough touches to warrant an all sec season. Will we throw enough? Will we not spread the ball around so 1 guy can stand out among the conference? I have my doubts.

Walker could end up being the best defensive player in the conference. I won't be surprised if he averages a sack a game.

I agree. I think he was a 2nd team selection, though (in relation to the OP's initial question).

Walker was the obvious one for me too. With another off season of S&C I think Clark will be a dominant interior defensive lineman

Hardman hands improved tremendously the last half of the season. Made some huge plays for us catching the ball. With another year of playing the position, I think he will be up there with the best in the conference. He probably won’t make all sec based on other great receivers in the conference. He certainly has the ability if he continues to improve like he did the second half of last season.

DL Jacon Kinkaw
WR Brian Edwards
G Sadarius Hutcherson
C Donell Stanley
LB TJ Brunson

None of them made any Preseason All-SEC Team.

At least two of them will make the 1st Team Post Season and the other three will make the second team.

I would have listed Jake Bentley because he is over his Sophomore jinx year, plus Dan Werner has his footwork issues fixed, but there are so many good QBs in the league this year it'll be tough for him to break through, although he easily could.

If Clark can play the whole year like he played in the Rose Bowl, he's going to be hell to deal with

QB Drew
that is not even close to how you spell Tua.

Seriously though, in spite of how talented Lock is, overcoming the Derek Dooley factor will be a challenge. How they went to Dooley (no QB coaching or playcalling experience as an OC) is beyond me.
