I hand't read this whole thread, but I'm sure this has been mentioned.....
As bad as I hate other SEC schools when we play them - and that's ALOT of hate - come bowl time, I CANNOT PULL AGAINST THE SEC....and sometimes I hate myself for it.
The last time it was so prominently demonstrated was Oregon/Auburn. As much as I hated the whole sCam Newton deal, and as much as I said I wanted Auburn to lose going into that game, once the game was being played, I found myself pulling for Auburn.
In terms of during the reg season, when we are all playing each other, I'd probably say my list is as follows:
1. Vandy - pulling for them against another SEC team can only tend to generally help LSU
2. Kentucky - same theory
3. MS State - My FIL went there, he's a good dude, and I like Mullen
4. Georgia - I just kind of like them/CMR
5. da Vols - I like Dooley
It's hard for me to pull for Bama or Auburn under any circumstances, especially since lately, a win by either one of them hurts LSU. I'm not much on Florida either, but their recent irrelevance means I hate them less.
As an old LSU fan, I want Ole Miss to go 0-12 every year. They've pretty much done that, so that's good. Very neutral on SC.
As for the new schools, I'm not much of an A and M guy, and could care less about MO.
