Well i was going off of memory. Must have been a cut block or holding instead. But who cares. Doesnt matter what the penalty was, what matters is that it brought back a TD

LSU leading Bama 17-14, 2 minutes left. Beckham makes a scintillating sideline catch to the Bama 28 for a first down.
LSU needs ONE first down to kneel down three times and change the whole college football season(or a TD of course).

1st down: 4 yard run, 2nd and 6.
Hindsight is 20/20, but you're not gonna run twice on Bama with 6 yards to go to get a first down.
Mettenberger had had success throwing to the backs either on a wheel route or along the line of scrimmage. Or he could have done a misdirection pass in the flat to the TE.

I will say though, that if Alleman makes the FG and gives LSU a 20-14 lead, Alabama would not have had the momentum and the ball at their own 30. We may have been able to cover the kickoff inside their 20.....

Fake punt versus Georgia on 4th and 56 or whatever.

Sheldon's penalty on the punt versus Vandy which extended ther drive and was the turning point in that game.

I don't know if you can remember that night then, but you could almost feel the loss coming after we didn't get the fg.

First offensive play of the Florida game. Take that one away, and the game "could have" been completely different.
