Three possession game or worse entering the 4th quarter. Games in doubt until the last 5-8 min are not blow outs.

If half your points came from a ricochet pass and you still get beat by 3 scores, you're suspect as well.

I agree. If it's a 3 possession game then you're not really in the game.

It's more than just pts. Total yardage,# of 1st downs, and if you get to take a mercy knee. All those things have to favorable for it to be considered a blow out.

Someone said this off-season that arkansas got blown out by mizzou. 7 point game and we had the ball with a few minutes left

True, so since 16 points is still 2 possession, I guess it starts 1 above that.

Well IMO 34-17 looks worse. That means the losing team gave up 6 scores. (4tds and 2 fgs )
