There are a lot of coaches that attempt the same thing that are not in the running for 7 or 8 five star recruits.

Richt has recruited well, but has lost many blue chippers out of his own state and Georgia has much more to offer than Ole Miss academically and otherwise. He preaches the same thing.

Richt is a great person and recruiter as well, he's not exactly young and hungry though. I'd rather get on board with a coach who appears to be up and coming than someone who hasn't been able to finish the job

Are there any substantiated allegations of cheating? I know that there is an issue before the MS Legislature about the recruitment and job placement of RN's father at University Medical Center. Is there anything else?

I am not saying cheating is going on...I am only stating that it doesn't make sense for a 7-6 football program that has not won the SEC since integration to be outrecruiting the best schools in the nation and conference.

What evidence is there that Freeze can finish the job?

Like Ed Orgeron, his mentor, he can promise any number of things right now. Let's see how this plays out. If he continues to build the program and have success, the recruiting will only improve. Coach O couldn't capitalize on his initial recruiting success. Though I will admit, Freeze has shown he is a much better head coach already.

Like Capstone said he learned from one of the best in Orgeron but has but his own spin on it. He finds a way to let the recruits know he is always recruiting them without being creepy. Some recruits have tweeted pictures of 25 letters from Freeze in 1 day and Freeze called all the recruits personally on Christmas Day. I think he is genuine which is lacking in the college coaching ranks these days.

Having the number one recruit in the country talking the program up doesn't hurt either. There's genuine excitement and he has a fan base and an AD that will run through walls for him right now too.

He follows Hitler's tactics .. But uses them in good intentions.. Praise Freezus...

But in all seriousness this guy is an up and coming name with a strong Christian background, big family man, an has connections across SE Merica. This man knows Ole Miss sells and he just pushing all the "immediate playing time and team on the rise" that he can. I'm glad he is the Head Coach of THE University of Mississippi cuz I'd hate to see him at another SEC school.

I realize there is excitement. Excitement is different than expectation and ceiling.

LSU, Bama, UGA, UF and aTm have much higher ceilings than Ole Miss could or ever will have relative to sustainable national powers that are in contention for national titles year in and out.

If Ole Miss lands all of those that are leans or that are up in the air currently, they will have out-recruited all of the aforementioned schools.

It just doesn't make sense.

Don't know or care what he does. Just glad he is doing it and hope he continues. I think the key is that he loves recruiting and never stops. I'm all for it. That and he proved that he can do pretty well with the young squad we already have. Things are definately looking up.
