As an LSU fan it is easy to point at 2011 national title game. I think the most difficult one was in 2012 which I think we outplayed them and still he found a way to win. Yeldon and that screen pass is still etched in my memory. I loved him for rebuilding LSU but goodness I my love turned to hate.

2014 SEC Championship game. Not that the game was particularly competitive, but any time you lose one of those, it's tough.

Either when State lost in 2014 25-20 when we were #1 or in 2017 when we were up 7 midway through 4th quarter after dominating the entire game and let Bama score twice in the last 4 minutes to win

2012 and it’s not even close. Yeldon screen. LSU had that game. Now I’m mad

You had to have hope to begin with in order to be mad or upset, limits the field to LSU, UGA, and Aub mostly.

Either the 4th and 31 play just a few weeks ago or the 4OT loss a couple of years ago.

Probably the build up to the 2011 natty knowing we were going to lose. Was pumped to play Oklahoma state and those bcs rankings came out and Bama was 2nd. Heartbreaking

2012 That Saturday night in Death Valley when Tj yeldon ran down the center of the field and scored the game winning TD. I was there and it sucked ??

1/9/12 was just a brutal game all around but the Yeldon screen tore my heart out and stomped on it.

I agree it’s not 2011. 2011 was almost expected, it started way earlier.

For me, was mostly downhill from the Patrick Peterson INT game.

1998 when he was at Michigan State and beat undefeated Ohio State. That loss cost the Buckeyes the National Championship vs Tennessee. Not a loss but a fun fact. In 1980, Pete Carroll the secondary coach at Ohio state left and was replaced by Nick Saban. Rather you like Nick or not, he was one of the greatest coaches in college football!

We never had anything on the line when we lost to Saban. Every time we had something to play for, '04, '10, '13, '17 we won.

4th and 31 was annoying, but 2021 might have been more annoying. None of them hurt anything like losing other games in '13 or '17 though.
