I'm not from that part of the state, though my mother was. Hence the grits, fried bologna, and hot white rice with raisins for breakfast.

And that's not southern, it's appalachian, and poor.

But I'll grant that the boot heel portion of the state and a bit up the Mississippi is southern.

I come from an "old-South" family. We come from what was a Southern part of the state back in the 1800's but nowadays not so much. We still eat the great Southern food though

For real. My favorite things about Mizzou is:
--the cities of the state (I got a lot of friends from St. Louis and KC here at ole miss, who have Freinds at Mizzou).
--- I had a great time with your fans who traveled to the grove (y'all traveled well).
-- the pillars on your campus (don't know why, but I like them, their unique).
Not much else tho.

I like Ole Miss. Every Mizzou fan I know says they really enjoyed their trips to Oxford back in '07 and in '13.

Plus, y'all are by far the closest school to us in the SEC after Arkansas. Not too bad of a drive down to Oxford...the boot (bootheel of Missouri) is only an hour from Mississippi
