My douchebag SIL's husband just told me that it is indeed a shoutout to OMs 3 national championships.
I am in town for 2 days to help his wife recover from surgery and he is talking so much smack. It's kinda sad, really. I have never been an OM hater; in fact I have always pulled for OM when they aren't playing Bama; but this guy is such an arse, it's starting to make me hate on OM a little...

ETA: next time I'm in town, I am going to pepper his car wih XVI stickers...

Ole Miss fans are like Disney World. You can't truly appreciate them until you've experienced them in person.

Sorry he is taking it to far. I'd just remind him that you are there to help your sister & him out. Hopefully that shuts him up.

So they move to Madison to send their kids to Madison Central.

More proof that Mississippi sucks pretty hard, if that's the best public school around...the one folks aspire to send their kids to.

The pretentiousness that is Eastover does in fact embody what is Ole Miss - so, I don't disagree. Normal people left Jackson years ago.

Seriously, the amount of delusion in this guy is surreal. He has started drinking so now he is trying to convince me that OM has the "most robust" history in SEC football. I'm not bothering to respond...

Rumor is most of the prep kids this year are going to TCU or state. But JA is still bringing their usual OM crowd. Apparently St. Andrew's is starting to have a small OM presence you know, besides the ones at fricking harvard

This is a joke right? Eastover has become a shithole. Try the Anandale area now and most of those people are State fans.

Eastover is a beautiful neighborhood and I love some of the shopping in that area. My SIL and her family live in the country club. It's a nice neighborhood, but you have to drive through a marginal area to get to the nice area. I stopped for gas today along that route and even in broad daylight, felt a little nervous. My SIL told me I should only buy gas at the station in front of Whole Foods...

Sorry, but I don't have a pic, but it is the state of Mississippi in light blue with a red number "3". Throughout my visits to Jackson,I have seen "Snead for Heisman" and "Swag for Heisman" but I have no clue what sentiment this sticker is attempting to convey.

That's easy. It represents the number of generations that have passed since their last SEC title.

As far as buying gas goes, if you are near the CC, I'd just drive up Old Canton and fill up in Ridgeland. On Ole Miss fans; most will fall anywhere from tolerable to good people, but the percentage that make up the morons seem to be more extreme than the morons from other fan bases, as you've noticed.

I feel like I have fallen down the proverbial rabbit hole. Last night my SILs husband was strutting around like OM was the greatest thing to ever happen to college football. At one point I think he got in his wife's pain pills and he actually started modeling his different game day "outfits". That was my cue to take a late night golf cart tour of the hood.
Tonight, aw Lordy, the guy is apoplectic. I swear he is losing his shite while irrationally trying to explain how he is rational and not losing his shite. I honestly don't know what to do, other than giggle a little here and there.
He knows people that know Ross Bjork and he will have the truth before 10 pm.
I'll keep Yall posted.
Insert that ROTFLMAO emoji...

PS I'm here till Sunday...

I just asked the SIL's husband if the 3 on the sticker was a prophecy of the 3 years of sanctions they are about to get. I couldn't help myself!! LOLOLOLOL
