but we were down by 30 to Troy in the 4th quarter at home in 2008.
Lol, but seriously though. Were y'all just bad or was Troy just really good? That's really bizarre.

I think it was the 2004 Music City Bowl. Minnesota beat us somehow with Chad Pennington at QB.

Troy ran a west coast offense and those geniuses decided to play our dbs 10 yards off the line Troy methodically marched down the field at will. Starting in the 4th we magically figured out to play up on the receivers

They had two future NFL RB's - Laurence Maroney and Marion Barber III

Please don't tell me...uhh...all those 6's in the box score....they weren't all field goals...were they?

Most enjoyable part of the game actually watching them.

Five FG's. Trent scored a TD late. Missed the PAT

It was 31-3 before we scored a TD with under 2:00 remaining in the 3Q. I'd call that an exaggeration, but pretty damn close.
To answer the question, Troy was a pretty good team that year, 6-1 in conference play with losses to OSU, LSU, and OkSt... LSU was also god-awful that year, finishing 3-5 in SEC play.

Made a correction on my original post
2003 Clemson, not 2001.
2003 Clemson, not 2001.

Pick a game from the Curley Hallman era.

LSU fans...you can insult the Gamecocks one time without any questions from me (should be easy) for what I am about to post:

2012 LSU/Florida was absolutely terrible.
Have never been more disappointed leaving a stadium. Mainly just because that LSU team had so much talent and potential, and they weren't showing it.

I know these feels. I felt it at a Carolina Panthers game a couple years ago when I was walking out of the stadium. I still really want to go to a Carolina Gamecock game someday though.

2000 Iron Bowl in a mix of rain, hail, sleet, and snow. Bama was shite that year. No offense. No touchdowns. Auburn won 9-0.
Also 03 (I think) in UGa with a 4th-string walk-on quarterback named Brandon Avalos. Got smoked.
