Here is another building. It was originally a functioning cotton mill.

LINK

Thankfully its being turned into a huge Marketplace/hotel/conference center.

I don't know about weird but the Huey P Long Fieldhouse is a unique structure. LSU let it go to shite over the years but in it's hey day it was something special. It's still on campus and it would be amazing if they ever decided to fix it up.

Reminds me of the Brady bunch house, but now they have a red brick entrance while the rest of the house is still white painted brick.

I woke up across the street from the Tri Delt house for 2 years - I can't believe I forgot it!

But, those houses will be gone soon when they add on to sorority row and build KD, Tri Delt, and Alpha Gam new houses.

Pour one out for First Circle.

Maybe I'm thinking of another house. The house across ATO?

That picture of Paty takes me back. Spent a lot of time on those benches.

I would say Tri-Delt of Round House. But neither are that weird.

ETA; where are all those Sorority Houses going?

I can't think of that many actually weird buildings on our campus. Old Main's north tower it quite noticeably taller than the south tower due to the a-hole Yankee architect fricking with the founders.

There are some ugly buildings, but not many weird. We also don't have buildings on campus that are just flat out not used like it looks like a few of these other buildings are. Our campus is quite a bit smaller in acreage than most in the SEC, so that is a significant part of that.

Ms state is definitely hunter Henry, also called George jetson building. That story about the prez would fit if fogelsong was prez at time(everyone HATED him) but it was built before him, but other things were done to oust him

Cooley building or tin gym would be close, and that statue in front of mcarthur is weird

I'm a bama fan, but spend a lot more time on states campus

State's weirdest building is the Hunter Henry Alumni Center

I like the Alumni Center. Especially considering I always park around Ptolomey's on gameday and walk from the cotton district to the stadium. I enjoy walking by it. Late in the evening is when it looks its nicest, the way the sun bounces off of it

ETA: I don't dislike any of STate's buildings. I do wish they would rename the Animal Husbandry building though
