2012 Women's College World Series, OKC
We actually went. A good portion of my family (the female part) doesn't care too much about football. They'll watch the Iron Bowl or a BCS game but that's about it. I usually go to games with my buds or co-workers (who get me tickets) but this was the first time in a long time we went to an Alabama game together.
We've been to gymnastics before but again, some of the guys were never too into it. But something about softball clicked for everyone.
so for the first time, my WHOLE family was decked in our Alabama gear and for 3 days and 3 games cheered on Alabama together like crazy, we won in the rain and got to celebrate in a stadium full of OU fans with our little band of brave Alabama fans. It was magical.

2012 Nama game. Cheering the whole time with some friends and family. Plays that I'll never forget in that game were the play, the interception on 4th and goal, and offsides for the win.

2001 SECCG.
Rolled into Atlanta big underdogs. Still remember how cocky the Vol fans were.
Had a blast watching LSU crush Tennessee's natty dreams. Lulu and Junior, etc.
Next day, watched Saints play Falcons in same stadium.
Moved to Oregon the next year so that's the one and only SECCG I've attended.
Still the biggest upset in SECCG history.

1973 - NC
1978 - NC
1979 - NC
1992 - NC
2009 - NC
2011 - NC
2012 - NC
Probably will have a couple more pinnacles when it's said and done.

Probably the 97 Florida State game. They came in #1 and were huge favorites. If only I had been there.

I was lucky enough to be at UF during the basketball-football-basketball NC run from 2006-2007. That was an incredible 364 days.

1992 Bama destroyed the Hurricanes, ending their dynasty and stripping them naked in front of the world, AND re-establishing Alabama on top of football after the longest dry spell in my lifetime.
It's been a hell of run lately, and the Bryant years were untouchable...but when it comes to my Bama moment, it was George Teague and the rundown strip of Lamar Thomas. I can't imagine what it would take to top that moment.

Not your typical "pinnacle" but it was the moment when I felt most like a Carolina fan.
It was a cold November week in 2007. For those that remember USC's 2007 campaign that was, in many ways, the prototypical Gamecock season: in mid-October we were 6-1 and ranked sixth in the country...then we lost to Vandy at home and went on to lose every game after finishing 6-6 without a bowl bid. So yea.
Anyhow, it was in the midst of that losing streak that our lord and savior, Reverend Tebow, was to come to town and I wanted tickets...so did everyone else. Back then students lined up to draw tickets from the old ladies at the student union the week before the game, first come first serve, not like now with the fancy computer system that factors in class standing and "loyalty". So my friends and I spent a blistering cold night (I believe it was in the low 50's) with a few hundred other students camped outside the student union waiting for tickets convinced there wouldn't be any in the morning.
It was one freezing, alcohol infused night as a homeless person but it was fun and represented what I believe to be the pinnacle of my fanhood. Got my tickets in the morning and went on to see the Gators thump us 51-31. Oh, and the old ladies didn't run out of tickets until lunch time the next day so there was no need to camp out.
If not that story then probably beating Alabama in 2010. You could feel the upset in the air before kickoff, I mean, it was damn palpable and in many ways that too was a "typical" USC season. The football gods teased us with a view of the summit only to have Cam bitchslap us back down and lose our bowl.
I am a man of constant sorrow.

What is the pinnacle of your time being a fan of your team?
This is a tough one:
1. Obviously seeing the championship in 2010.
2. 2013 month of November.
3. Taking a piss on the cock on the 50 yard line at South Carolina while drunk as shite about 2 am after we beat them on the road in 97.
4. 1999 LSU road trip and drumming them and half the fans leaving at halftime.
5. 2000 Sleet Bowl was pretty awesome to say I was there. Miserable conditions and we walked away with a 9-0 win.

I got more excited over the 2013 IB win than any victory by any sports team in my lifetime and it isn't even close.

- 2010 Season as a whole. Watching Cam dominate was amazing.
- 2013 DSOR and Iron Bowl.
- 2006 Auburn-LSU was up there. Never seen a more hard hitting game.
98-99 Auburn Basketball. This may be up there with any football moment. Chris Porter was so fun to watch.

1992 for sure for me. Was the most energetic atmosphere I have ever been a part of. Once I got in the Superdome and saw 90% Bama fans I felt we at least had that advantage against the mighty Hurricanes. That beatdown was a blast.

I love Auburn Basketball. I should've put the '03 Tourney run with Marquis Daniels in there too.
