Would like to be stereotypical and say 1 as long as a national championship like last year or 2 as long as SEC championship like year before, but for Bama this year I don't think it's that simple.

New QB concerns me more this year than most. It depends on who wins that job. If it is one of the FR, then 3 loses could still be considered "successful". If it is Bateman who wins the job, then he should be mature enough to limit mistakes, take what the D gives, and anything should of SEC title would disappoint.

If we lose 2 it will be a failure in most of our fans eyes.

Big year for Miles.

Really depends on who the losses are against for me.

If we go 8-4 with losses to FSU, Bama, UGA, and LSU then I'll think we beat all the teams we should have beat.

If we go 8-4 with losses to Arkansas, Auburn, TAMU, and State then we totally screwed the pouch. (Don't get any ideas Aggies)

To answer your question, 4 is the maximum number of losses I will consider acceptable, contingent on the opponents.

More than 2 regular season losses would be a failure.

Lsu the answer is 5. Lsu winning 8 games a year for the entire 21st century would be the greatest accomplishment in team sport history. 8-5 is the floor for lsu.

If we lose 5 games with a healthy Fournette , Miles should never coach a football game again.

I don't really have a set number. Depends on the QB and injury situation.

I could accept a situation where Eason starts from game 1 and UGA ends up 7-5.

7-5 would be successful.

It's above .500 and it means our offense is done shitting the bed.

I am going to say 3 losses for Auburn will be successful if they are not LSU, UGA, UA. I can live with 4 losses, but would not consider it a success. More losses than that is going to be hard to swallow.

2. I've come to the realization that LSU is guaranteed at least two per season.
