Is this really a question? Of Course UGA is the team left out.

Clemson and UGA have already played.

Bama is the only team that gets rematches.

Who plays for the national title?

BCS#1 vs BCS#2.

i understand this would present a conundrum for you. but i think things will sort itself out to relieve you of your stress. in fact, i loosely would put the odds at 100-1 that they will.

Well, you're the 24th Tyler Durden in a line of violently schizophrenic men, so....

But to answer your original question more thoroughly, the odds of a one-loss Georgia jumping an undefeated Ohio State (you won't likely jump an undefeated Clemson because, well, you added considerably to their SOS simply by being a 1 loss team) are minimal. The computers have substantially less effect on the BCS standings than the voters, and the voters aren't going to keep an undefeated Ohio State out of the game.

The analogy to Bama two years ago is imperfect -- two years ago, there were no major undefeated teams in contention for the #2 spot (I don't even think the usual suspects like Boise were undefeated.) Yes, you'd be the team that lost to the undefeated team by 3, but it wasn't nearly as evenly matched on the field as the first Bama/LSU game. That was the very definition of a game either team could have won. The odds against Georgia are just too great for them to make it. You might have a better shot if there's an undefeated Louisville instead of an undefeated Ohio State or Clemson, especially if your opponent in the SECCG is also undefeated. And especially if it's Bama, since that means they'd be wire to wire #1.

BAMA is the only SEC team that should feel good about its chances in that scenario. I'm not saying it couldn't happen for LSU, aTm, UGA, SC etc., but its not a lock. It will depend too much on who the two undefeateds are and how they won their games.

I think it would be almost impossible to leave a won loss SEC Champion Bama team out given that they've one 3 of 4.

Ohio St-Clemson. This isn't even a question really. Clemson would've beat UGA, USCe, and FSU. Undefeated OSU gets in no matter what, they're OSU.

I want to commend the OP for a subtly crafted lure to bring out the "only Bama gets a rematch!" Rantards disguised as a UGa "what if?" scenario. Salud!!!

Clemson beats OSU in your scenario and UGA is left out.

The nation will be looking for a reason to leave the SEC out unless its a one loss Bama team, because the 3-peat chance.

Would have worked better if the reasons they're different situations weren't so easy to explain.

This would be the nightmare. Change the scenario to a one loss Bama, UF or USC team and it may be a legit question.
