holy mess, auburn fans act like Lawson is the second coming of Reggie White. Jadaveon Clowney was supposedly the best thing since sliced bread and he was shut downn vs LSU in 2012. same thing would happen if Lawson played.

LSU fans already act that way about Key. Regardless, any player on the line that can totally disrupt the LOS is kind of a big deal.

not at all. if Key wasnt playing, we would be fine. lose some pass rush, but with the way Johnson is throwing the ball, we dont need a pass rush.

but you're severely underestimating our tackles. both would hold their own vs Lawson. Lawson would win some and our tackles would win some. Lawson isnt going to be in the backfield every play.

i will say though, Jefferson would start on almost any team in the country. It is a blessing that Mills backup is great and experienced. Jefferson will be on the field a ton this year.

I hope Key plays the whole game. He's young and cocky. That side should be open to take the gap and run up-field after he runs himself out of the play.

How did I underestimate anything? Whether he gets in the backfield or not doesn't change the fact the O will scheme around him, hence he disrupts the LOS. It's not necessarily a good thing to have an end that's always in the backfield. Key will learn that, just like Lawson and Miles had to.

Key did well in run support, but he isn't in all the time. He rotates in a lot but isn't a starter.

if he plays, LSU's arse is kicked

Its been clear all week that he's not close to 100% percent. You really want to see him limping around with no push against the Fighting Schembechlers of LSU?

And yeah, he really is that good.

He's very good when healthy. At full speed he would have made plays but not enough to save Auburn from what's coming tomorrow.

At 60% he would have been a huge liability.
