I don't understand the Hailstate motto. Have they won some championships that I don't know about? Just wondering!

State isn't hailing anything. Other people are hailing State. At least that is what the saying 'Hail State' suggests.

The one and only sec title in football for miss state was 1941. I just looked it up. Damn dude, yall haven't won an sec title since fricking pearl harbor?! shite, lol, I'm not being a dick honestly. You're damn right I switched it to football bc that's when it all started to be put on yalls field and #Hailstate and all that. Stop trying to deflect to hide you're embarassment. Pearl harbor?!

I don't really give a shite about anything before I was alive or started watching it. Football isn't any different. First year I ever watched MSU football was 1998 and I have watched ever since pretty closely. In 98 we went to the SEC Championship in football and lost to NC Tennessee. We went to the Cotton Bowl that year and got arse raped by Ricky William's Texas team. Next year we had a ridiculous come from behind win in the Egg Bowl and beat Clemson in the Peach Bowl to finish 10-2 and #12 in the country. Following year we had an insane snow bowl game vs aTm that we won. Next year we started ranked and things were looking good till 9/11 happened. Then our football program disappeared overnight and didn't get resurrected again till Mullen got here and took us all the way to #1 for 6 weeks in 2014.
You wouldn't understand the satisfaction you get from watching a team climb all the way back up after being down for 8 straight years. I feel sorry for you as a fan because you can't get that enjoyment ever. Sucks for you bro

Actually I can you dumbass. Have you heard of curly hallman? He was the first lsu coach I remember as a kid. We sucked. Then I have experienced numerous sec titles and appearances and 3 national title games and 2 nattys in football. Then, have you heard of skip bertman? I went to omaha 4 fricking times and saw lsu win 3 nattys, one of which was the warren morris shot. We have been to so many cws that I can't count, won so many sec titles I can't count, so many regionals I can't count. I've been alive for all of the 6 national titles in baseball. I have seen lsu reach final 4s and have got to meet shaq and watch him shatter a fricking backboard on a dunk. I have witnessed alot of titles in all 3 big sports that havent been done at lsu since before i was born for a while, and in baseball, ever. I have seen lsu do all of this in my lifetime. We won our 2003 national title in football when I was a freshman at lsu. So yeah, I kinda do understand, it's just a little bit sweeter. Imagine seeing the only college team that matters in your state play in the national title football game in your biggest city in your state and win it 2 times. Imagine the atmosphere on bourbon street before during and after the games. You wouldn't get the satisfaction in that nor understand it. Now what we're you saying again? Oh yeah, this doesn't even include katrina and nola and the saints winning a daMN superbowl which I never thought would happen either.
