Franchione to A&M. Yes, A&M wasn't in the SEC then, but they are now.

Saban to Bama. Won a natty and did well at LSU, but set records with Bama's resources. Looks like Cal getting Tyson's, Hunt's and Walton's to the table for NIL.

Yeah. We couldn’t believe our luck. How did we steal this great coach from Alabama? Mainly because they were glad to see him go. It took a few years but we realized we’d been had. Watching Tim Couch run an option was the final straw.

Similar to when Tubby "chose" to go from Kentucky to Minnesota.

this one doesn’t make any sense to me. Cal is way better than Jimbo ever was

Yep. IMO, Dabo is the only comp in the game right now.

this is dumb. Arkansas is a great basketball program. Kentucky was not a good or great football program

Cal only has a single natty.

Dabo really had it rolling for a while there.

That's a good point. I just can't think of anyone else that has had the sustained success that compares to what Cal has done over a period of time. Jimbo never really had that and Cal has done it at multiple stops.
