Explain to me why players that kicked off our team go to Auburn then. I mean, if Auburn is so great and all, why don't they just choose Auburn from Day 1? Is it their high academic standards?

So what you're saying is student athletes (notably football and basketball players) follow the same curriculum as a normal in-state or out-of-state student to enter college.

Students don't get recruited, unless you're out of state, and student athletes do.
