Funny how everyone equates correcting someone stating something false to bragging.

Vandy is the most inbred university in the world. Oh, you're not inbred? Wow, what a huge accomplishment.

I'm really not sure what you're getting at here. I simply pointed at that if we ignore tiebreakers like you want to, then Vandy is equal to A&M in the conference standings.

So A&M thinks beating Bama at Bama is the most swell thing ever?

Remember that time Ole Miss went into the Swamp and forced the greatest college football player of all time to make a promise to Jort wearers everywhere that his team will outwork the rest of college football?

God Bless.

I simply pointed out that we were actually 2nd in the division. I didn't say it was

It was nice, but it didn't keep them out of the BCSNCG. We have that in common with LSU recently.

2nd in hardest division in college sports. First year. Heisman. Destroyed Oklahoma in Cotton Bowl. Oklahoma the same team that embarrassed the best team in football this year.

Top of conference

If that same A&M team that need a prayer againts fricking DUKE were to play that OU team that played in the Sugar Bowl, I seriously doubt you would beat them. Probably get destroy a la 77-0.

For first place I guess you're right, but if you can point our the tiebreaker rules for second place I would greatly appreciate it

So at first you claim A&M tied for second in the West last year and now you fail to even mention the "tied" part, even though they lost the tie breaker.

Did I miss something? When did A & M play for the SEC Championship? My guess is that if the Aggies can't do it with the best college QB in recent memory then they never will.

So...Vandy>Auburn by your logic? Please, continue to say things that make Vanderbilt look better, not matter how flawed they are.

There aren't rules for deciding a 2nd place tie breaker, because no one other than A&M fans care about having a 2nd place finish in the SEC west on their record. It will go down in the books as LSU and A&M both finishing 6-2 in conference play with LSU defeating A&M in 2012.

And with A&M finishing ranked 5th at 11-2 and LSU ranked 14th at 10-3.

A lot of other school's fans in this thread seem to care a lot.

non-conference games do not affect SEC standings.

Not sure if serious.

LSU fans on the Rant mention this false factoid on almost EVERY single thread involving Johnny Manziel or Texas A&M.

You're right. However, national standing matters more in the end. You as an LSU fan should realize that more than anyone after 2011.
