Didn't read the rest of the thread but this is the winner. They've spent years calling him an idiot, saying he has no idea what he is doing, he is lucky, once his luck runs out LSU will be terrible. The exact opposite is happening, while all the other "superior" coaches are continuously getting beat by him, and they just can't handle it.

I'm really only referring to 2-3 teams.

Because other teams severely underestimate LSU. They look at us and think "they're good, but they're lucky". Then after they get beat they look at all the stupid things we made them do "fumbles, interceptions, quick inaccurate passes, penalties, bad decisions, etc" and they credit those things to themselves instead of what LSU did to make them do those things. Then you've got guys like Sonic Sam and the HB7 who are talking shite the whole game and it just gets under their skin.

On top of all that LSU just physically beats you down when they're on offense. When you finally get your turn they're so fast on D unless you run a 'perfect' offense you are ineffective.

After you deal with all these things for 3 hours, you're tired, frustrated, aggravated and you realize you just got your arse beat, and not only beat but straight beat down.

Because Les has proven, over the long haul, that he is not an idiot. Regardless of how the media has tried to portray him. Also, its not the team that they hate.

It's our fans.
