And despite some knuckleheads on here, they actually have pretty cool, passionate sports fans.

You mean...delusional sports fans.

In recent decades College Station started to expand out to a decent size/density of what can be described as American Suburbia. That environment is mostly on the outskirts as College Station expands overtime.

Inner college station is filled with the standard college town infrastructure. High density of apartments/bars (Northgate is primary bar hop area).

Beware the College Station PD. They are very enthusiatic to hand out citations - it's been a topic of conversation over the years and even more recently.

I'll counter your sarcasm with some facts. Article was written in 2019. They probably have more now

If you graduated from LSU and want to talk shite about A&M’s sports teams, then fine.

You do realize that if only graduates of schools were allowed to be fans and financially support sports, that none of the schools would actually exist right?

This is such a stupid argument. It's what fans of shite programs have to resort to when they have nothing else to say.

I'm gonna have to ask you to show your work on this statement. I know this is tough for an LSU "fan" to comprehend, but those schools aren't there for athletics.

Awful, looks like a prison that they decided to turn into a school.
Lots of gay bars trying to pass as straight bars as well.

No culture, kind of sterile looking like a hospital. Weird.

Agree with all of the above. I'll add, though, that getting in and out on gameday is quick, and the fans are... very nice.

Texans have a hard time comprehending this with the plethora of pro teams in-state.

In the deep south, CFB reigns supreme. How many UA, AU, MSU, OM, etc. fans are there that did not attend the school for one reason or another?

They're great fans nonetheless and the lack of degree from that institution will never detract from that.

I comprehend it perfectly fine. And I'm not degrading folks who didn't attend Auburn or LSU or wherever but choose to root for them.

But if you think an Auburn or LSU wouldn't exist without those fans you are either delusional as frick or there is something very wrong with your institution.
