Would he be enough of a difference maker to beat a team like Bama next season? How far could he take them? Say he comes back in time for Spring ball and whoever the coach is lets Manning run the show on offense and help out some with the defense. Would Manning be a lock for the Heisman? Ignore eligibility issues.

Neck would get broke. Especially w/ Bama hits like on Murray allowed.

Saban is so masterful at defensive game planning that he would make Manning's head spin. He would probably throw at least 4 interceptions because the Bama defense is 10x better than any defense in the NFL.

Manning as we know him now? They'd run the table. No shite. He's a 10+ year NFL starter, he could go out without a coach at all and win every game..

Pretty sure they need him more as coach than QB.

Probably 9-3 or 10-2. Their defense will still suck, their line still won't be great, but Manning would probably throw 500 yards a game.

One great player is not gonna immediately made the team the greatest team ever though. This is football, not basketall.

Manning is a great player in the NFL but he's also throwing to starting NFL receivers behind a starting NFL line, with support from a starting NFL defense. UT doesn't have that.

What is the deal with all these Ole Miss fans flamming Bama as much lately?

Besides owning Ole Miss every year did Bama piss in their Cheerios?

please, he's the QB and would run the entire offense. Their wide receivers would become great, their oline would play much better, and he would overcome the defense in every game if it wasn't up to par.

LSU and Bama from this season certainly would not beat them

Every top recruit in the nation would go to UT if that were to happen. They would win a national title and it wouldn't even be close.
