I have been told that my best bet for a ticket is to wait until 1 hour before Kick and they will come down. This was from a rich older friend of mine who has been to the last 8 BCSNC's. He says he has never paid more than 500 by doing it that way.

Well thanks for the tip

I actually don't mind the bar (not good for watching games though), but I have never been there and not wanted to sneak the frick out of the bartender up there. I think it's a shtick, but I've never seen him break character.

There isn't one great place to watch sports downtown, imo. I would say walk-ons if you can handle serious heckling, but it will probably be too full to even make it in. I've watched a few big games at Gordon Biersch, which is connected to Harrah's. It's fun for an LSU fan.

Both Oz & Bourbon Pub are Bama friendly bars. They are both on Boubon St and across the street from one another. You & your buddy will be have alot of guys to talk to in there about Bama.

Take I-10 to the Causeway exit then take the Causeway Bridge for about 13 to 14 miles and then take a hard left.

If it's cold as penguin shite outside and your looking for a sports bar, Walk On's would be a good time...it would be overflowing with people mostly in purple and gold, but everywhere in Nola will be!

I hear the Bama fans are all getting together in an abandoned building in Central City. You and your "friend" should walk there.

The quarter is within walking distance of the Dome. I'm sure you can find a place with booze and a TV there.
