I hate to break it to you, but I don't think any teams in the West ever think about your team. Unless it's game week where you are the opponent.
Your team has really disappeared under the CMR era.

we've disappeared over 14 years? That's a slow act.
This is probably the best era of UGA football ever. The stretch from 42-46 and 80-83 are the peaks, but as far as a sustained, decade long era this is by far the best we've ever been.

That the Safety that could have intercepted the Miracle In Jordan-Hare now plays for Auburn?
why would you want that guy?

And while 'disappearing' we still manage to take 6 of 8 from the Barn. Impressive

Frankly, the fear of Georgia exhibited by Auburn fans on the SECr this week does no credit to the SEC West.
Some of you West folks should probably have a chat with them about that.

quote:Georgia hasn't disappeared under Richt. He is actually their most successful coach since the Herschel Walker era. One reason most Georgia fans are afraid to fire a coach that has never even played for a national championship in 15 years is because they are afraid the next coach will be even worse. That is hysterical.

In 10 years you have been to the SECG 3 times with 1 win.
In 10 years Auburn has been 3 times with 3 wins 1 natty and another appearance.
Championships are what you should be measuring, but CMR has you drinking his brand of success.

We can't enjoy the hit on Brown because we're so enlightened and unfun now that big hits are frowned upon?
Come on UGA, don't let the jamba juice liberalism of Athens ruin everything.

Let me guess... it hurt a little but it felt a little good too. And you got a little tight in the pants.

conveniently leave out the two seasons before that where we went both years and won one.

And you've also seen more losing seasons in that span than Georgia has had in about 20 years.

Well if that's the case, we should bring on the Chiz right? He's won a title so he's clearly better than Richt.....right?

This argument is silly. UGA trying to tear down Auburn but any UGA fan I know would trade the consistency for more titles. Auburn fans trying to tear down UGA is equally useless. UGA is good, CMR has had Auburn's number and arguably one could suggest it has saved his job on a couple of occasions.
I expect a good game, but there are more tangible reasons to believe UGA would win big than Auburn.

This guy gets it.
Auburn has had a great program over the last couple years with higher highs and lower lows than UGA. That doesn't mean our program has been unsuccessful. We just haven't reached our ultimate goal yet.
