Talking about why players should be paid. He's already quoted as saying he never received any money.

I've gone on record a million times saying that I know UA and every other school in the country gives out $100 handshakes. However, the fact that AU seems to be going 90 in a 50 while everyone else is going 55 seems to be lost on some of the Family

For the record we were going 200,000 in a 500 speed zone.

I'm just enjoying the karma that the conspiracy theorists are having to chow down on after the Gadsden, Dre, Jerrell drama they invented.

I don't blame Bama fans, its what they are supposed to do. But every ATPB'er is going to have a tough pill to swallow tonight. I wonder if BTT is going to kill himself when he hears that LSU gave Auburn players money.

I don't argue that. Alabama might have a little bit to worry about as well if people start talking about repeated violations and such. If I were an Auburn fan, I'd worry about the fact that your team has a target on its back, and a little bit of the Al Capone sentencing phenomenon might arise. People think that since you didn't get in trouble for Cam, you deserve to pay. Right or wrong, that's what people think.

Tyrone Prothro does appear but, as has been reported by those who have already seen the interview, only talks about his life after football. They ask him if he took money and he says "not a cent." He appears in the segment about whether or not college players SHOULD be paid.

LSU, Ohio State, and Michigan State are only mentioned in the pay-for-play segment in passing.

i think it varies too widely per player to know what the "average top dollar player" receives.

some may get a few hundred dollar handshakes, but some might get thousands to over 10,000 for all i know.

Yea they are asking his opinion on if the NCAA should pay athletes. The story on him is how he made thousands for UA and it cost him a career. Nothing to do with pay for play but nice try.

I am gonna watch it tonite prally. I aint gonna judge. That's for one Guy and one Guy only.

Everyone has cheated. Hell, OM got the 2nd worst penalty handed down in NCAA history. We were payin players like Blue Chips - and thats a factor as to where we are today.

But if and when the hammer hits for Auburn it will be somewhat refreshing due to some of the flaming auburn pricks on here.

That's all I got.

Yes, it is just the tip of the iceberg. You really think that Bama, UF, UT and OU are exempt from the practices that USC, OSU, Auburn, LSU and MSU use?

UA cost him a career??? Is he serious?

He couldn't HAVE an NFL career without a football program to play at... and now that he's famous for "the catch," he can get hired anywhere he wants. He'll always find jobs.

what a joke. i hate hate hate the entitled mentality.

He can't spell it, but those who supposedly know them say his mom had a college fund for him. But since he got a scholarship, he got to buy a car instead.

All of these programs are going to have to set up secret pensions for the people they played in college. It's like they're on strike.

I don't think UF will be mentioned tonight, and if they're so be it. I'm not going to run around acting like a phony saying just because we did it, it means everyone else was doing it as well.
