Titans GM Ruston Webster, Agent Joe Linta and Coach Ken Whisenhunt all said this rumor is false. Mett has not asked for a trade. Webster stated Mett is not that type of player and has told him he is looking forward to competing for the job. Whisenhunt said he expects Mett to be ready as a starter all year even when Mariota is in there.
