Of the 5,200 acres of campus, you can't wear your hat in one building. I think you're old enough to figure something out. Signs might not be necessary.

Wearing it under live oak trees planted before 1965 is also prohibited. TIA

Don't sweat it anyway. If you don't, someone will politely ask you to remove. The hat. It's you're choice after that.

I've heard of several instances of over-zealous aggie fan barking at other fans instead of politely asking.

It happens, but what you don't hear are the many more times people politely ask you to remove your hat.

I don't get what that guy was thinking. There has never been a tradition of not allowing people to walk on kyle field.

The MSC and its lawn is a memorial to the Veterans.

This should not be a difficult thing for you to respect.

Fabrication by anti-Aggie sentiment, or people taunting looking to get in to it. There are women and children in a place of reverence. Aggies are not confrontational in this environment.

Even I forgot to take my hat off one day as an alum when I was passing thru the MSC after a game. Some cadet politely made a hand gesture to remind me to take it off. No big deal.

Really? That's the thought process you don't understand there?

wow

How about, "I don't understand why that idiot thought the right thing to do was to DRAW A SWORD ON ANOTHER MAN".

That would be a shame. Hopefully the police would wait until the people finish the job.

Get the tradition correct. You are requested to keep off the grass of the Memorial Student Center to show respect to those who died in service to our county. Gentlemen are also requested to remove their hats before they enter the MSC, to also show their respect.

If you want to be a douche and disrespect dead Americans, please let me know. I would love to see you do that. It would be more entertaining than most football games.
