I remember a lot of people who went to COMO last season saying a lot of Mizzou fans wore yellow Under Armour long sleeve compression shirts or something? What was that all about?

FL has to be the worse in the SEC.

Spinoff: What year do FL fans stop wearing an assortment of Tebow jerseys?

At this point their fans have worn his NFL jersey more than Tebow himself.

In all honesty, I really don't see a lot of men wearing Alabama jerseys. Girls, yes.

I've never understood the hate for jerseys.

I don't own any, but seriously. Why do you care?

I really don't get the obsession with "looking good" for games, either. I wear a t-shirt and shorts or jeans to most games, and I switch to layered clothing in the winter.

That is apparently blasphemous as a OM fan, but comfort > an inflated sense of "style".

I'm not sure where UF is getting tagged with the jersey wearing idea but it's too hot the swamp to wear them much of the time. I don't see many save for kids and girls even then it's not rampant.

I searched lots of pictures of fans in the swamp and have yet to come across the fan jersey phenomenon I keep hearing about. Note that all UF fans wear jorts though.

There's one jersey and it's Tebow's in this picture. Most pictures I've found have the same ratio.

Damn. If that's your belief, Bama must not wear any jerseys at all.

Well, it's not only hot in the Swamp. How the hell would the OP know about what folks wear on the reg in FL anyway?

Jerseys are too hot for Florida. It's not rampant where I live. Now Miami fans, that's another story. All 20 of them wear jerseys to games and every Cane in SFL wears them out and about.

Ok now this is taking it too far. If you're a grown arse man wearing a jersey anywhere but a sporting event then you should kill yourself.

Jersey wearers are stereotyped, most stereotypes are loosely based upon reality

Not me, personally, but this is the internet dammit errbody cares

Gives a better impression. When you hear fans from outside the region comment in amazement at how well a fanbase looks as a whole, its a good thing

Those saying Bama are fricking full of shite. No Bama fan would ever cover their Got Shula or Cruitin National Champs T shirt witha jersy.

This. UF is t-shirts, golf shirts and flip flops most of the year around here. I don't see many jerseys at all. Almost never out and about. We do have some jersey wearers of course but holy hell you'd suffocate here in them 60% of the year.
