It’s not hard to spot top athletes in a college town. Taller, incredible fit and cut. Even if the police didn’t know who he was they would have found out soon enough. I know Bama still sees themselves as a football school despite their decline. But a top ranked BB team gets a certain amount of attention especially when they can no longer point to football natties. A lot of people - police included - knew who this guy was.
