For me, it's how the light changes at sundown. Getting dark earlier, shadows lengthen.

Getting out of class the on the Thursday of the first game. I go get my bottle of beam, some pizza and get ready to relax and watch football the rest of the night. After that is the first time I walk over the hill and see the all the Grove tents on gameday.

When the grounds crews are out in full force in the grove and the RV parking signs are being distributed about campus.

it was hard knocks but not not this year. That and my fantasy football draft weekend/golf scramble.
