This year we'll be back in terms of national relevance and significance, and contending for the division and possibly conference. We probably won't really be back till 2016, where we could easily contend for and possibly make the CFP.

Both could happen this year, but a lot of things have to go right. I don't expect it to happen. We're unofficially back if we win the East tho.

If you are contending for the SEC you are very likely contending for the CFP.
Not that any of this is relevant to Tennessee with Butch Jones as coach.

UT is a dead program
But 8 wins would be the ceiling. CFB has changed with everyone being on TV and Tennessee high school football not being good. Might as well settle for mediocrity.
