Tough dude. Seems like the kind of guy who can inspire his teammates to run through a brick wall. Doesn't set the world on fire but he's a gamer. I'll be happy when he's gone.

I think he’s a gamer with good decision making skills, average arm, & a terrible OL.

Well, it is.

But it’s also just a tiny dig at the Swamp Kittens that remember he was from Red Stick and it was a bit of a coup to get him (makeup for poaching Harvey Williams from us the year before).

Trivia: Bucky’s first appearance was coming off the bench to beat Brett Favre’s Southern Miss team in 1987, including an 82 yard TD run in the 4th.

When he’s had protection he’s shown what he can do. His ability to make the correct read in the run game also improved throughout the year. Mett had a stronger arm but I think Burrow is a better QB. Hell in Cam’s 2013 offense with those wr’s he’d have probably put up similar if not better numbers IMO.

throws quick slants really well. throws back shoulder down the sideline okay. scared to throw over the middle. 2/3 aint bad. gutsy. willing to scramble against average defenses.

All ability aside, he's 1000X tougher than Tuna.

I think he’s going to take a huge step forward next year. He was only at LSU for a few months before his first game and hadn’t started a game since high school. Next year his OL will be better, all his receivers are back and should be better (they have a ton of talent), and a huge upgrade in the backfield. With another year experience and an off-season with the team he should be greatly improved.

Played ok as a first year starter behind a bad o-line. The wide receivers did him no favors with lots of drops and it's overall not a great offensive playbook.

I'm hopeful for a step forward next hear with what should (fingers crossed) be a better line and some improved talent at the skill positions. Plus it's year 2 as a starter for Burrow and year 2 for Ensminger with Burrow. I think at times, they struggled to figure out exactly what offense they wanted to run through Burrow.

If he’s gonna go all in with LSU he needs to alter the spelling of his last name to Burreaux.

DisplacedBuckeye

LMAO- Keep being you, Buckeye. This shite is priceless. Although I will say that his line was hot garbage this year. Burrow is a solid QB, but the best in the conference? He’s no Fitzgerald or Hurts. I leave Tua out because he was replaced by Hurts and Hurts closed the deal in Atlanta. I give Hurts a ton of credit. The kid rarely shows any emotion, probably barely has a pulse and heart rate might be 35 bpm, and is just a stone cold killer. I’m impressed because nothing phases that guy. Burrow will need a better line and a much much much better RB to be an elite type QB. Kind of like what Bama has almost every year.

Have an upvote for the Harvey williams reference. Dude was an animal at LSU. Also had a nice run with the Chiefs back in the day.

I have liked Joe since the Miami game. I know he will never win a Heisman or be a starting NFL qb, but the kid is savvy. He plays smart, and makes the most out of the ability he has. Joe is a hard player not to like.
