This is so fricking retarded. The trainer in question was fired for being a jackass, and a sip blogger manages to get a hit piece out right before signing day. It's pure bullshite.

It happens everywhere. I was playing baseball and we had an unusual ammount of injuries one month. The damn coordinator came to town and started this speech that started by explaining the difference in being hurt and injured(as if we didn't know) and ended with him insinuating that we better get the frick back on the field soon, or people were going to lose jobs. Coaches value availability.

A player is not forced to play.

Now if coaches were forcing trainers to lie to players, that's another story.
