Yeah, but I didn't realize Wisconsin was this traditional football power until this time yesterday....

He had to replace 7 assistants this year. It is hard to maintain success at a high level if you are replacing the majority of your staff year after year. Wisconsin didn't pay their assistants shite, which is one of the biggest reasons he is in Arkansas.

There is a lot of people who didn't know shite about him until yesterday, but are experts today. Who pays attention to Wisconsin? Nobody. The people who hate Arkansas are looking for all of the cons, and of course Arkansas fans are going to shite on people's faces.

Sounds like your mad you have to hire assistants while we hire BCS bowl level HCs.

Wisconsin fans loved him. I can tell you that much for certain. I'm not sure he'll have success at Arkansas running the same type of offense though. Wisconsin is like a diet Bama. That Big 10 crap won't work here with the type of athletes Arkansas usually has.

Beat the nobodies and about broke even with the bigger programs. Seems about like what Petrino did here. I'm fine with that. Wisconsin and Arkansas are a lot alike with the disadvantages they face compared to the big dogs around them.

The popular sentiment up North is that BB stepped into a strong program that Barry Alverez had built & that most of BB's success was due to Paul Chryst and Bob Bostad. After they left, Wisconsin was a very different program... Without NCAA sanctions, Wisky isn't even sniffing the CCG much less the Rose Bowl. Without those sanctions, Wisky has the 7th best record in the Big Ten and is going to a bowl game few care about...

They lost 3 games in OT and two of those were to Ohio St and Penn St. Win those games and people aren't attributing this season to Chryst and Bostad.

Sounds like you have a coach with a shitty record against decent competition.

He's a perfect fit. I've said before. I want you guys back to your average finish in the West of 3.5. It puts some pressure on OM and MSU.

I certainly understand that FMB. It's a good hire but not a great hire. Heck, it could turn out to be great for Arky. I'm hoping it does.

Every hire is a risk no matter who it is.

Wisconsin fans like to give all credit to Alvarez. They don't think Bielema is a good game day coach, which is more or less true.

I think they probably don't give him enough credit, but there is also merit to their gripes.

Wasn't he the coach, who was crying about Meyer getting kids who had committed to Wisconsin, to back off their commit, and go else where?

And he also, stuck out his chest, and said" This isn't the SEC", and acted like the Big10, is this classy,we are holier than thou, conference?

Yeah, he was. I think he even said something to the effect of "we don't want to be like the SEC in any way." Lol, hypocrite.

And BB arguably coached them into a loss in the latter. Guess you didn't watch.

Ha, nice. Don't know much about him personally, except he tended to piss off other coaches running up the score a few times. Against Indiana, I think.
