Obviously you've never been to Birmingham or Memphis or NOLA or Mobile. Those are cities that are literally dying.

From '08 until last year, I lived in Nola, and all of my family is from Mobile. My mom was a family of 11 kids, so I have a ton of uncles, cousins, and other relatives down there.

Nola has an insane amount of money flowing nowadays. Real estate prices are through the roof with Cali and N.Y.petite moving and gentrifing areas.

Mobile just had Boeing open a major manufacturing plant. There's also plenty of industrial jobs in the area in south mobile. There are plenty of good jobs in Mobile that aren't going anywhere. The salaries aren't as high as many places I've lived, but the cost of living is insanely low. I can't speak for Memphis or Birmingham, but the cities you named on the gulf are doing very well economically.

And Rust Belt? This isn't 1985 anymore, Jethro. Nobody says that phrase. Those areas are now gentrified and are former industrial hubs. Semantics bud. Semantics

According to this article, from just two years ago, says otherwise. Those cities have been in decline since the 70s, and it's gotten worse every decade. I'm not trying to be a dick, but those areas are a shell of themselves.

It's too bad Kenyan Drake didn't have a big game against Arky. That would've made a good joke.

Forbes magazine, which has been one of the most anti-Midwest journals around, views Ohio in a better light than you do. And that's saying something, because Forbes has always hated the metro areas of Cleveland and Detroit.

And you got the huevos to come on here with your socialist black power inspired link for an article from two years ago? The Hampton Institute? Go have a sit in at Mizzou, lefty. They need your kind over there. I don't even know if you could verify 5% of the stuff that is written in there is factually based. Thumbs down, CCTider. Bad post.
