Maybe, but he stretched the field and opened up the running game. His passes have more zip than Harris. And he was able to make a lot of plays with his feet.

Hey I understand being excited. I really do but come on. One thing though, surely Les should've known before now that this kid should of started over Harris. Etling beats Wisconsin.

Crazy football fans. A QB has a good game against JS and he's going to be the best QB in the SEC. Love it!

You might be getting ahead of yourself calling him the best in the SEC....however, he provided a spark that LSU needed. I didn't watch a whole lot of the game, but he looked accurate when I saw him. He will do well if the coaches use him properly.

All reports suggest Harris was better in practice throughout Spring and Fall. Harris chokes. Plain and simple, the dude can't handle an actual game.
Etling isn't the most talented guy out there, but at least he can keep his head on straight during the game. That will go a long way.

I just realized it was a Bama fan posting this thread. Goddamn that's sad.
Etling was 6 of 14 with 100yds against Jax State.
I think we split Auburn and Florida.
Loose to Ole Miss, Bama and Arky.
Miles leaves on terrible terms. I would say he deserved more but he drove the program to where it is today.
