It's a good job. Great arena, good history, a fan base that will pack it when you're winning.
It's one of the top basketball jobs in the SEC, no doubt.

Found out today they're the only school in the SEC (and majority of the country) with out a basketball practice facility. Plus there state has no talent.

Were building one, and wrong.

What's amusing is that there are only 2 jobs in the SEC where the BBall coach wouldn't shite on his athletic director's desk if that was one of the requirements to get the Arkansas job.

Kevin Stallings, John Calipari, and Billy Donovan. Ok, I just named 3 off the top of my head without even trying. Nice try.

Damn... that's an ugly thought. I hope it doesn't come to that. But it would get some publicity.

Jeff Long should hire Kermit Davis from MTSU and they would become a perennial NCAA tourney team... He has recruiting connections in Arkansas , Georgia and TN as well... Three states that are hotbeds for talent...I just think Anderson needs more time though... He's a good coach , a great recruiter and a sharp dresser.

Can't begin to talk about firing the hoops coach while you're paying the football coach the 3rd highest salary in the conference to beat the likes of Samford and Southern Miss though.

Arkansas' problem is with shooting the ball. Free throws can be a problem at times but the Razorbacks desperately need some players who can consistently put the ball in the hoop with a decent percentage of success. Merely running the floor doesn't win games.

I think there's plenty of HS coaches that would love the Arky job. Heck, they might even improve over 0.059.

Yep, I'll even take a little less than Bert and get more SEC wins than 6XBB.

It's easy to do that really silly pig sue thing for that much cash.

Yep, I have no problem looking and acting like a fatass, redneck retard if they are gonna give me money to not be productive at all. I'm in...

No. Mike Anderson knew it was time for Mike Anderson to leave and all concerned agree with it.

He was aloof, bordering on arrogant. Several of his players disliked him and were ready to transfer out. The press disliked him because of the aloofness. And the traditional fans base hated him because he virtually refused to recruit locally, allowing home grown talent like David Lee, Bradley Beal and Ben McLemore to leave, uncontested.

In short, Mike Anderson is Arkansas problem.

Theoretically and financially, all coaches are their schools "problems".
