Sometimes i think the ghost of Shug Jordan haunts us because he is still upset about the cowbells.

State has a shot fwiw. Look how they played LSU and UF. Plus, they hate them some Bama.

If we take them lightly or if we turn the ball over a bunch of times then we can be beat. If not then we should win by wearing them down like we have in most of our games.

I think they have a shot with Mullin.
He's good friends with Kyle Whittingham and I'm sure they talk about shite.

It's not the same team, and do different things, but he's got some ideas I'm sure.

I wouldn't bet on this one, as the spread should be kind of ridiculous.

I think MSU has a shot. If UA comes in thinking they are hot shite, and play flat, Mullen will have something cooked up for them. However, I think MSU's strength is in the running game. Dixon is a great back. But the bad thing for MSU is run D is the strength of UA defense. So, unless you can get your QB to channel his inner Tom Brady, I don't think it is a good chance.

didnt know that this thread had anything to do with auburn, but now that you bring it up.

auburn has beaten tennessee, ole miss, and west virginia all who have been/are in the top 25 at one point this season.

how many teams has miss st. beaten in the top 25?

also, we beat yall, and you think yall are good, so there is another one.

Well.......based on what I saw with y'all vs. Florida, and add the fact that y'all are coming off a bye week........you have a damn good chance at home....

Good. Very good.

Bama will fall prey to the "post-LSU" game slump.

Plus, lets not take anything away from State. They are playing great ball and are underrated as an up-and-coming team.

I guarantee by this time next week this board will be filled with Bama guys congratulating State for the hard fought game (not ready to predict a win yet).

Will be tough to do when the cowbells have to play against 8 extra players the 8th being Mike Slive.

We have not been ranked in the top 25 this year. Back to the original question, MSU has a very good chance against Alabama, your team is playing good and you are at home, the only problem I see is...
the refs and Mike Slive.

1. State is good and should have beaten LSU; they can beat anyone in the sec .
2. I cant tell you how frustrating it is to hear LSU fans still crying over a game that they were fairly beaten in, and now we have the bulldog fans starting with the ref excuses before a down is played. I am uses to hearing LSU fans cry and blame losses on everyone but their team, but now it seems it is a good enough excuse for everyone.
