Dude nobody outside of the state of Alabamastan wants to watch his arse, he brings nothing.

How does Finebaum bring in a lot of money?
I would debate this point. Nobody outside of some meth addicts in Alabama watch his show.
I don't think I have watched more than a couple of hours of the network aside from a game. That's sad and I was hoping for more.
I also don't know why the SEC feels the need to promote sports that nobody gives a flip about.

They could start by getting rid of Finebaum and his legion of idiots.

I only watch if it's football or basketball games. Finebaum is for the lowest common denominator type of fan ie Bama fans.

This. I knew his name and his program from this board. I know he gets his ratings from letting the South's stereotypes go at it. But Jesus, I tried watching him when he first came on the SECN and it was miserable. Watching a scrawny bald guy, talk in a monotone voice with an expressionless face for 3 hours is just unbearable. I couldn't believe that it got as big as it did to even get on the SECN.
I agree with some though. I'm all for classic games. Hell they could do those old school JP college flash classic type games with all kinds of sports. I'd be good with that. (I guess the Rewind is kind of like that)

Better Pawwl Finebaum analysis
Less Jerry Springer wrastlin'.

Agreed. Finebaum has no place on the network. Just a money grubbing move, but it's a clown show. I would not be against a SEC centric call in show, but the inbreds on Finebaum kill the show.
Focus more on content. Inside the program, NFL films type of stuff. All great ideas.
Why didn't they follow a football team for the year and turn that into a series? Classic games are fine as a time filler. Facilities tours could be a series. SEC legends (30 for 30 type stuff). SEC tailgates. Inside the college towns. There is so much they could do and they're missing the boat.
I'm glad we have it. Mostly because of the money it brings in, and not having any PPV games but the programming sucks for the most part.

Use the spillover channels more for games. I don't understand why they don't have live games on those two extra channels all the time.

Guides to each college town. Restaurants, interesting spots, etc. Would be bomb.

Finebaum's show does suck. He's dull as hell.

Need an SEC Storied for Skip and Ron. The fathers of SEC baseball.
Also get rid of Paul.
Also get rid of Paul.

Are they going to show SEC championships in Track and Field, Swimming and Diving, Tennis, Golf, Equestrian?

I tweeted the SECN that I wouldn't be watching the SECN Gameday anymore as Long as Finebaum is on it. He's too annoying.
I'll stick with Rece and Herbstreit on ESPN Gameday.

Things I would like to see more of:
1) Classic games. For example, I loved before the football season started that every night they showed a slate of classic games for each respective team. Loved watching the Mardi Gras Miracle (UK vs LSU basketball). Games that you just don't see replays of that often.
2) At least cut back on the time that Finebaum eats up. Maybe feature some other radio shows of respective SEC teams for variety.
3) Do more 30 for 30/SEC Storied deals. There's so, so much potential across multiple sports to do this and I hate that it's been limited to a handful of specials.

I'd say get rid of Pawwl, but still have the same 4 hr format with a panel, like SEC NOW that takes calls and discusses the issues. Paul still has his AU/UA talking points that everyone else in the SEC dont give a shite about. His bias is pretty obvious

I really hate Paul's favorite callers that he let's get through everyday. The desperate old women that call and flirt with him are especially sickening.

Finebaum would be tolerable if he had NO CALLERS FROM alabama. Frankly, it would be better with just interviews and commentary from all over and no callers of any kind. And reduce it to 2 hours.
