You obivously did not comprehend a word I just said. When the ball is snapped the TE and tackle block the DE and center and guard block a DT, one of the two blockers advance to the next level to block a linebacker right before the running back hits the hole.

Aggie had a pretty good one for a couple of years. Still couldn't manage to beat or finish higher in the division than LSU.

What's worse? Johnny Manziel never beating LSU or A&M losing to Jordan Jefferson & Anthony Jennings? I'm torn.

No I get it I just don't see how you think another 5* on our line won't help, or change LSU's gameplan on offense. You act like its no big deal to game plan against another guy on the line that can burn you at all times, like it has no effect on your production.

Even if Mack is the 2nd coming of Warren Sapp, he's not going to show it next year. Can you think of one interior linemen that has been anything other than promising in the SEC?

I'll answer that for you, no. It takes time to develop the physical tools needed to succeed at DT in this league.

He's 5'10 and has only played against 250 lb hs linemen ever. OCs must be losing sleep all over the u. s.

I agree, but that was under the assumption you had to gameplan against another guy on the line.

Don't expect Mack to set the world on fire this next season.

I already said we would run right at them. He will most definetly effect our game plan, I would assume more draws and screenes to keep him honest and not bursting out of his stance (which he does well), but we are a run first team and definetly won't run away from anyone. Our gameplan will to try and take him out of the picture by putting two hats on him, and trying to move him out of position, like I said before. But in the SEC you're only as good as your second D Lime, because if you have no rotation, then once the starters get gassed it gets ugly.

Which is why our expectations next year are reasonable.

Who doesn't? Elite DLs are hard to recruit.

Honestly everyone is looking at our DBs but we did pretty good there this class- better than the last class or maybe any class I can remember. And we now have two freaks on the line (I know I know, depth matters) which is two more than a decade of A&M teams had.

Our REAL weakness on the defense is LB play. We didn't sign an elite player to that position this year so we need development of the guys we have to see a step forward.
