Bo didn't get kicked in the head when he was down. Nickoe Whitley put his nuts on his helmet. What does your response have to do with my greatest Mississippi State moments?

1968 Georgia beat Florida 51-0 in a driving rain storm. The play of the game was a long touchdown punt return by the legendary safety, Jake Scott. The punt was short and well covered by Florida but Scott made a dangerous catch on the dead run while surrounded by Gators. I'll never forget that play.

Former Texas A&M linebacker Brian Gamble summed up the thoughts of Aggies everywhere with his quiet celebration of A&M's 20-16 victory over the University of Texas at Kyle Field in 1999, the year that Bonfire collapsed and killed 12 students at A&M.

Coach R.C. Slocum reflected on the win: "Everybody's hearts were so heavy, that we just had to win that game. Our players did a good job of working through all that and then finding a way to win the game against a highly ranked Texas team. … We were underdogs, but won the game.

Not a play but my favorite moment is the LSU band taking the field and saluting the 4 corners of Tiger Stadium with pregame. 4 simple notes that give me goosebumps every single time.

Bama winning Natty's and I've been fortunate enough to have had 10 such moments. I'm old and my health is not good, but I think I will see at least one more before I check out.

How cute, a Colorado post...

As of now, that game really is the death of Nebraska football as we all know and remember it. Except for the 2003 (10-3) season in which Nebraska was routed against the top talent on their schedule, Nebraska has lost 4+ games every year. Nebraska has had some fair teams here and there, but that Colorado blackout game killed he Nebraska program that we all remember.

1992 seasons Sugar Bowl Bama vs Miami. George Teague running down Lamar Thomas and stripping the ball away from him to save a TD in the sugar bowl. I remember after the game Bama fans outside the ESPN bus chanting for Corso, he had said Miami would destroy Bama and Bama was a fraud.

21-0 is high on many lists, but I enjoyed 20-13 almost as much.

God, I loved that game. There has never been an Iron Bowl or TSIO that I have enjoyed as much as winning that game. I HATED Miami (as did most of the people in the country who weren't in jail or destined to be), and we punched them in the face and took the ring off their finger. Corso was right about one thing - we had not "looked" impressive enough and our schedule was not overwhelming...but that game as much as any in history should have taught people to stop underestimating teams that played great defense instead of great offense.

Putting everybody within 3 yards of the line of scrimmage and Ginocalling the TO, the place was never quiet after that.
